  • Christmas time star bokeh

Hi there! I saw experimenting with bokeh by putting a cut out of a star in front of my lens to change the shape of the out of focus lights on my christmas tree. These are the best I could get with my kit 18-55 lens. Thanks for looking.

Clever idea! I like the first one the best, the stars seem to be floating.

Those are great! Did you cut the stars by hand or use a stamp? First one is my favorite, too.

just cut it by hand. I think you were right about the punch being too big. The cut out I had to use was really small.
