  • Pichi Richi Railway Quorn South Australia

We recently drove up to Quorn (gateway to the outback!) to ride on the old Pichi Richi Railway. We last did this with our kids 20 odd years ago. This engine was in a playground in nearby Port Augusta up to 2 years ago, when it was taken away to Quorn and rebuilt. This is only one of several steam trains they have. I have processed them Not my usual photography (people and equestrian!)

I agree with all of the above. As they are the shots look like fairly ordinary photos of trains but the conversions make them look great. Well done!

Thanks guys for your comments, when I got them home all I had was tons of shots of a train and they did look very ordinary. But ended up being great fun to play with. And it was the first time I used a texture on one of my photos... I might try that again!

I really like the fact that the driver has sunglasses on, which gives a slight anachronistic touch to the post-processed image. TFS !
