    Assignment:Spring

We are in Autumn here, but still could find signs of new growth on my Geisha Girl. Thought I could try something else instead. It's the best I could do without a macro lens.
    Spring is here

          Leisa,
Not only is that a pretty shot, it is so interesting to me. I never realized that those little things opened to expose the pollen. Amazing!

Fantastic color, detail, and capture! (have you considered taking out that white in the lower left corner in post processing?)

This assignment is already proving to be full of great pics!

                  Assignment: Spring

The start of spring in London, UK was heralded by heavy snow. Flowers, bursting to life, were weighed down by this burden:

                  Narcissus

                  Exposure: 1/200s
                  Aperture: f/4
                  Focal Length: 90mm
                  ISO Speed: 200

                      Bee-autiful Season

                      Spring-08 038
                      Not for assignment.
This was a lucky catch. The bumble-bee landed just as I was pressing the shutter. The flowers are beautiful, but the bee makes it more interesting.

I used my flash to light the interrior of the blooms on this shot. (something I wouldn't have considered on my own), Thanks DPS!

                          Assignment: Spring

Here's my entry....taken on a very cloudy day after a soaking rain. Taken with my Kodak DX7440 in "Macro" mode. I was able to view the Exif data in Photoshop, but I'm not sure how to post it here.
