I took this photo in a local park on a rainy day. It looks really pleasing and am satisfied as I took this photo hand held, while waiting for the wind to die.

      Cheers

                  • Hi Jacquelyn and welcome to DPS!

Quicky critique (and I'm better at show than tell )

                    First shot:

Subject is in the centre. Think Rule of Thirds. Put your subject to the right to stop the eye even if that means doing a horizontal flick. example

Maybe crop in and sharpen the subject, denoise the background. example

Second shot. Love it. Trees give the rule of thirds. Tiny subject in the middle is spot on. break the rules.

                            • Water...as ice and snow

We often forget the powerful forces of nature. I was driving SOUTH one day in December when I came upon some black ICE on the highway. After careening into a SNOW bank, i bounced and flipped and spun off of the guardrail and more SNOW, coming to rest on my side, facing NORTH.
I had to climb out the driver's window, but I did walk away from this accident!
