I never thought I'd be taking pictures of such gross things.

My Thanksgiving turkey. This guy had been standing on the deck with wings outspread, but by the time I handed off the dogs leashes and got my camera ready, well----

I still can't believe I was taking pics of a vulture. If you look at the larger image on Flickr you can tell he recently finished eating.

And aren't we supposed to swat these things????---

I know this is technically not a good shot. I have to read up more on taking pics of spiders. Look at the pic closer tho and you can tell what he thought of my taking his pic. LOL He shot me the finger----

I saw this huge gearing sat on the dockside just going rusty and like how nature was taking it back. Just like the colors and industrial feel of it, hope you do too.

Finally they have a steam train... These shots were taken the other weekend, a work colleague of mine has been restoring this track for over 5 years. Finally they have a steam train running on it, its the start of the old potts line to Stoke from Nant Mawr. The train itself was built in 1879. The guard is my colleague.

I know this one is a little out of focus but I kinda liked it, it gives a sense of speed.

The headlights are coming away from London and in the second shot you'll see nothing is going towards London - it was friday night I suppose!

On an unrelated note, I went to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition today, if anyone's in or around the London area I'd recommend going, there are some truly amazing photos on display.

I wanted to share two "firsts" from yesterday...my first "real" food shoot, and my first non-family Christmas card shots!!

Busy photo day yesterday...two shoots in one day!!

...so a good friend of the family asked me to do their Christmas photos this year. Here are two of them. I couldn't bring myself to charge them, because last year, a family member CHARGED them. Of all the nerve! Further proof that "Family" is the original "F" word!!!

Also, a buddy of mine owns a BBQ restaurant. I designed his website and took his original food pics way back when. He asked me to take some more food pics with my light setup. It was a shame, though, cuz after we were done....we couldn't just throw the food away!!! He's very proud of the size of his burgers, so we eclipsed the model's face to show scale!!!

Took 4 shots to get this drip!! Good burger!!!
