Question UK equivalent to SmugMug?

Is there a similar site to smugmug for the uk based people, where the prices and shipping costs are calculated in pounds rather than dollars?

Thanks

Zenfolio are I read 'talking' to european suppliers, obviously no guarantee's but I personally like their site so here's hoping, so far I cannot find a UK based version that offers the same options ie setting prices etc.

It's a site where you can upload your pics for your clients and they can view the pics and place orders, which smugmug then organise, taking a percentage of the money that your client has paid.

Sime, I normally use Photobox for my prints, I didn't realise they did something similar, will check it out!

Thanks for the tip off about Zenfolio too, will keep my eye on it!

Is photobox's quality good enough for commercial prints? Just curious as I've used them for myself, but have recently started using Peak Imaging for client prints (after seeing a recommendation in a photo mag). There's a noticeable difference in the strength of the colours etc when you hold them side by side.

I just wondered if they had a professional prints section. Or am I just being picky & the average person wouldn't notice?

What you've described sounds like a really useful service AP. I think I like the idea of doing it manually for now (with paypal/cheque and the prints coming via me) just so I can check the quality and learn from each job. In the future, particularly if volumes get high or if I sell prints as well as portraits I think a service like this would be invaluable.

Yes I can imagine that being an administrative nightmare if you're getting phone calls & emails from all & sundry, especially over a prolonged amount of time (as the bride & groom are bound to want theirs back asap, but parents etc will probably take their time).

I hope you find something suitable.
