Finally someone reads the fine print
 

I did senior photos for a girl about a month ago. She was actually late getting hers done because she will be graduating a few weeks from now. I got an email from her mom yesterday requesting my permission to use one of the images in a congratulation ad to her daughter in the newspaper. She said "Per the contract that we signed, I may not use any of the photos for publication without your permission."
WOW!! Of course, I gave her permission. I even offered to size a digital copy of the photo and email it to her so she didn't have to scan it. I was pretty impressed that she read the contract and actually listened!!!
I am sure that this is not the norm though.
