After reading the reviews and checking the options on the 3 mentioned, Mrelease, Easy Release and Photographers Contract Maker, it seems the least expensive Photographers Contract Maker is the most adaptable and useable. I just downloaded it. I'll post on it after I get it set up for myself, but it looks good. I have always tried to carry a couple blank model releases with me when I'm out and about, but I always have my phone in my pocket.

I downloaded Easy Release. I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with it. Yes, you can use your own custom contracts. It's just a matter of copy and paste in the iPhone and you can use your own contract. It even lets you use your own logo. It's a bit restricting as far as the placement of the logo and accompanying text but it works fine.

After you're done and have you and the model sign it then you can send it to the model and yourself as a pdf file. This helps a bit so you know someone won't try to modify it on you. It can be done but not by the average user. It's a bit silly to have the photographer sign it but that's just my personal opinion.

Another nice feature was that if you changed anything in the contract after the model signs it then it requires you to get the model's signature again. That will help allay the fears of some clients/models that worry about the photographer changing the wording without their knowledge.

I haven't tried the other two but I'm pretty happy with Easy Release so I probably won't buy any of the others.
