It's not much, but it's what I could do from my desk at work.
Really nice. I like the positionning of the paper clip, the side lighting... and the color
Thanks for your kind comment by the way

A Nikon D70s, a few lenses, add flashguns to your taste. Stir well. Serve warm.

I love it! But then there have been few photos of yours that don't just POP out at you. I will feel blessed to come even close to your talent some day.

nature etc 2006 004
This is one of my favorite simple shots. I pulled in my driveway and jumped out of my car, this was just under the edge of my bumper, near my tire, I was amazed I had not run over it. A friend had just been critisizing me that any one could take good pictures if they traveled, so I grabbed my camera and snapped this to show her that you can get a good picture anywhere if you looked and 'saw' good pictures. I have actually blown this one up to an 8x10 and matted and framed it and have hung it in my room. I don't do that with my pics because I never know which ones to chose, but this one really caught my fancy.

I'll see your red paperclip and raise you a rubiks cube. Exactly same comments apply as above - nearest thing that was red without violence necessary.

pegasus, Thank you

Everything I've posted for a year comes out of the minimum equipment listed in signature. These are assisted by whatever decades of art work of every description has taught my hands and eyes. I saw photos in my first month here that I said something like that, wanting to create a "look." I hope you can reach your own level of excellence, based on your own view of the world.

siopaopei,

That's good to hear. Thanks, enjoy your Mother Nature.

Canadian Mum, Thanks

It's gratifying to know others see that incredible part of Nature and enjoy it too.

Here's a less-than-perfect crystal of ice, getting better each time:
