Default Easter Egg Hunt

With Easter right around the corner I was planning on getting some shots of my 7 month old in the grass surrounded by Easter eggs. I was just curious if anyone has any tips or suggestions?

Thanks
Kristin

Sounds both expensive and fatening (well it would be for me!). Perhaps a few Easter eggs with more added later in software? Perhaps not the sort of suggestion you wanted but it will allow you to play with ideas a bit more once you have your pictures.

How about a close-up, wide-angle shot from a fairly high angle? Call your child's name to get them to look up. That way you'll get some eggs in the background but the main focus will be the face (wide-angle makes nearer objects seem much larger). Position that well in the frame and you should get a great picture.

Since little ones are involved and will be runing and crouching down to pick up eggs you may also want to position yourself lower to the ground. You'll get a better perspective thatw ay instead of shooting from a stand up position. That will give them the appearance of having even shorter legs

Yeah, I was kind of thinking shooting low... as if you were level with the ground.

One idea I had... (I have lots of ideas... its up to you to see how well they work ) was zooming in really tight on an egg and snapping the pic when the child lays their hand on it to pick it up.

Again, I always have ideas... how well they work is always up to experimentation.
