AFAIK, you can only select one AF point. If you want to put focus on a specific point, you can either do it fully manually, or with the AF's help.
With the AF's help, choose an AF point, put that point over the place you want to focus on, focus, and recompose. Manually, just focus.

Thanks
When you say re-compose i assume you mean select which bracket af by half pressing then take the shot? |

What he meant is if you select the center auto-focus point for example, you can press the shutter halfway with this point on the area you want the camera to focus (for example the eye). Once you lock focus, while keeping the shutter button pressed halfway you can move the camera to place the eyes where ever in the frame you need them to be for the final picture (this is called recomposing the image).

Thank you. That might just help my pictures 100%. I assume this works for eg when you have rocks in the foreground of a landscape shot? |

Just make sure that by using this "focus on one point and then move the camera" you're not putting your subject out of focus, even if slightly. It happens.
The best approach would be to manually select which focus point you want your camera to use. |

It should work on any situation you need to control where your camera's autofocus system locks onto - to me this should include every shot.
