Default Understanding Aperture

Found this page on understanding aperture and thought it might help. It is pretty basic and gives a good 'lamens terms' approach to teaching about aperture.....(I think there are more lessons about other aspects as well but this page is about aperture)

I found another that might be easily understood too. Just in case the first doesn't work for some individuals...http://www.photoxels.com/tutorial_aperture.html

This is great. I'm quite new (just bought a Powershot G9) and I'm trying to find out how to play with it. This was really helpful since I was trying to find out how to get an unsharp background behind the subject.
