Also, with long shutter speeds like that, the vehicle doesn't need to be moving fast at all. I've seen shots like these done in parking garages with the car idling in gear, or just being pushed around, which causes less vibration than a running engine. It looks faster than it likely is.

I do love cars, its one of my many other hobbies, can anyone point me to a commercial or DIY rig so i could get an idea of what this takes, like i said i may have access to my buddy gopro rig, but im not sure if it will hold my dslr

$$$$$$ wow but.... maybe ill try it.... split it with a friend.... i worry about his comments on the possibility of paint damage... hrmmmmm but if that was a legit concern who would EVER put a rig on a lambo or scudiera?!!?
