Question Suggestions for Maternity Shots

A friend has asked me to do some 'belly shots' and I've done them once before and although there were some real 'keepers'; I wasn't overly happy with the pictures.

Looking for suggestions on composition, angles, props...etc... Being a Mom, I want to make sure the Mom-to-be feels good about herself when she looks at the pictures.

Thanks
Shelley

There was one on here a few weeks back that was adorable. I think its under the critique forum? Not sure.

Does she have an older child? If so, this was an amazingly adorable idea! Let me see if I can find a link to it.

I found the link FINALLY
Big sister

If she doesn't have an older child, the blocks would still be cute as a close up and soft lighting!

Here's a link that I found on Google for you. It looks like it has some pretty good information in it.
Maternity Posing Guide - Ideas for taking great maternity photos
There is more than one page to that, BTW... there's a 'next' button at the bottom of the page. It's easy to miss!

One more thing- Whatever you do, please oh please, don't do anything like these, this,
and ESPECIALLY not this one! (Why a reindeer, I want to know?!) LOL

What would make that woman want to be painted like a reindeer?http://www.strangebeaver.com/wp-cont.../02/preg/1.jpg

Also, don't do this. No superimposing fetuses or grown men on pregnant women's bellies, please. And make sure that if there is a male in any of the photos, that he has clothes on. We don't need to see a reenactment of how the baby was made Susan's tips are good, stick to those!
