Default What is she looking at?

Hey,
Here are two versions of a picture I took of my girlfriend leaning on Union Station. To answer the question she is looking up at the Fairmont Hotel across the street. Here are two edits I have done. I recognize that even in my frist one my edits in ACR might be a little heavy-handed. I find it hard to resist but hopefully as my skills with my Rebel increase I can rely less on PP. The seond version is just me playing around in ACR and I kind of like how it looks. Anyway what are your thoughts?

I like colors in the second one better.
And also, if I may, I would just slightly cropped the photo to make her beautiful face stand out more.

I agree with Marija about cropping, from the right and top about half of the empty space at each I'd say. I like the idea of desaturating the colours a bit, I think you've got that about right.

Congrats on the pretty girlfriend

I agree with a crop. Otherwise a good shot...

Thanks guys, the shot was a spur of the moment kinda thing and I did crop it down quite a bit already. I liked putting her to the left of the frame, essentially breaking the "give your subject space to look into rule". I agree with your comments, both in that a tighter crop would make her stand out more and that she is beautifull. I am a lucky guy.
