Default Monument

I played around with an old image from holiday trip in Estonia.

Before / after

Can't remember exactly what I did but added contrast, blackness, sharpness and altered some colours.
What do you think, did I overdo it?

Great pp work there Rikluz, I though at first it was a subtle HDR.

You've done well in adding some depth to the shadows and contrast in the sky.

You did a nice job with the contrast, but the image looks crooked to me. I would have straightened it.

Thanks for the comments! I straightened the image now and it does look better. Forgot to do that yesterday.

I think the sky is a bit oversaturated. I do love the perspective and the monument itself, I just think the saturation is a tad much and the contrast as well. Tone those both down a notch and see what you got. Last thing, the statue headpiece looked better in the previous version as it wasn't so dark, contrast reduction should help on that too.
