Default Another single image HDR thread!!

Yaaaay!

Anyway.

Before

After

I think it really helped to fill the color in a bit, without going over the top. Any thoughts?

Seems like a lot of work for something that could have been done a lot easier.

the guitar positively GLOWS in the second picture, but doesn't look fake or overdone.

I thought this forum section was a place to not only show off your post skills but to actually explain how you achieved your result?

Yes - a few more explanatory notes would be appreciated please. What software did you use? What settings? Why did you make those choices?

Thanks,

Wulf

Sorry about that guys. I used CS4's exposure layer to adjust -1 and -2 as well as +1 and +2 then saved the 4 extra copies. Merged to HDR. I dont remember exactly what I did with the 8 bit conversion sliders/curves, I just messed with it until I got something that looked natural.
