Default B/W Conversion

I thought I'd try my hand at a little B/W conversion.

Nicely done Vegasmike. It has a very "period" feel to it.

Thanks. That's the look I was after. I used a plugin called Photo tools to get the B/W and created a layer with the dark border.

Hi there

Could you share how you achieve that dark border at the sides?
Is it call vignetting?

Very nice b/w conversion. I'll bet that a very light sepia tone will add to the photo.
