Ok, here's the original....

I adjusted the contrast and added a gradient filter, then added a blue cooling filter. For the moon, I created a new document, and using the elliptical tool, created the shape. Next, I filled the shape by going to filter>render>clouds. I also increased the noise and added an outer glow to soften the edges a bit. After that, I cut and pasted it into a new layer. To create the moon's reflection on the water, I used the dodge tool. As for the stars, I had quite a lot of problems creating those and I'm still unhappy with them, so any advise would be appreciated. I couldn't find a good tutorial.

I'll work on it some more. I really wanted to do some other worldly looking planet or something out there since this project was just for fun and not a picture I was trying to save. I'll let you know how it comes out. Thanks for the critique.
