What do you think

I honestly don't remember exactly what was done since it was back in April.

But i know there was:
Raw Adjustment
Levels & curves
Cleaned up the skin (around the eyes, and any imperfections)
Skin smoothing
Whitening the eyes
Over all glow to the image

I think many would agree that you have done some nice "glamour" production work on the original.

And that is just the challenge: the more a picture looks like a glamour shot, the more it begs for all the other elements - the model's pose, the setting/background, more colour, more lipstick/gloss/make-up, more, more, more!

I like the shot and if I may comment on anthing else, I find the loose hair on her left shoulder and the remaining wooden doorway and light above her right ear slightly distracting.

Regardless, still a nice shot and touch-up work.

Glamor is what i was going for.

Much appreciated, I forget the exact name but the rear door light was used for a separation. Its a front/rear lighting technique.

Very nice, I was going to say it looks like a glamour shot as well. I'm curious to see what she would look like against a black background.

FYI, here is an amazing tutorial that shows how to make complex selections in photoshop. This will help you isolate the model from the background so you can place her on a new background as suggested.
