Default First attempt at Lomo effect

Hi, this is my first attempt at the 'Lomo effect' after following the excellent tutorial i found here. Please feel free to critique, even re-edit to post here to point out maybe the 'ideal' image i should be going for

Thanks

I think it's perfect. I love the combination of the lomo effect with the fisheye/wide angle lens you used in this photo. I understand that the lomo cameras take the pictures with more saturation, maybe you can give to this image a little bit more of color just to get the lomo effect (because I don't think it need it).

Default Quite nice

I like the shot but also agree with a bit more saturated color.

Thanks for the opinions guys and gals, am off at the weekend to try and find some more suitable subjects to try out this technique with.

As for whether she was laughing or crying, we were obviously at a wedding, and she was a bridesmaid and had been posing for loads and loads of photos, so she took a break to have a drink and there was me with my camera, so she was turning in mock annoyance is the best way to describe it, she loved it really!!

The effect is very well accomplished really, have you tried to add a bit more contrast to it?

Well from a full day of posing for pictures, she should fill that glass up a couple more times. :-)
