I like how you processed the textures. It creates a whole new look, and draws ones attention to the plant. Nice work.

Very nice transformation. I really love the background you created with the layers!

I noticed that you still had a good deal of the background around the little "arms". To get rid of those you could use the magic wand tool in conjunction with the Select->Color Range tool in the menus. On the screen it looks nice, but if you were to print it out anything bigger than 8x10 you will start to really notice it is there, big time!

But again, very nice job I'm just being picky!

I think the texture actually transformed the picture from a macro shot of a flower to an artistic interpretation of the Flower... and the colors remind me of autumn, they give me a warm, kind of rural feeling... very very good.
