Default Old window

I edited the picture with Aperture and I really like LOL What do you guys think of it. Any suggestions? Thank You

The black and white really brings out the texture in the weathered timber, so I tend to use b&w most of the time for subjects like this.

I've converted over to Aperture3 and am loving the black and white conversion presets. There are also some great black and white film emulator packages available for Aperture3 too.

great edit! looked at the first pic and was like, "eh, it's a window" . went to the b&w and was like "oooooh! it's a cool window!"

I like the window in B&W but wonder what it would look like if the hues had been increased instead of just black and white??

another thought is using the black and white over the original in photoshop with a blending mode like overlay. You might get the best of both worlds.
