Default Array of Tabs

So I had seen the directions for the light box before but never really had the time to work on it but I got an assignment in my photography class that I thought would be perfect to use one. So I got to work and I think I got some pretty good shots. There was some Photoshop work on them naturally be overall they turned out well, I think. Let me know! Thanks.

if you click the image icon (little landscape icon) then paste image address you can insert the image directly here so others wont have to click the link to see it. Some might be less apt to comment if they are on slower internets.
I think the image is amazing! Very nice effect great DOF and all in all its a perfect shot!
I really can't say much for this other than i love it.

I agree with pinball I don't see anything that could be improved on with out taking a totally diffrent picture. Have you considered using a black background to make the tabs pop out more? That's all I could really think off the golden tab really makes the picture. Good work!

Nice idea murtasma,
you might think about a series here miscasedpeas....
maybe a black background with exact same set up ad then maybe with just the gold tab on each background.

Thanks for the comments! I had thought about putting it on black but I'm not to familiar with how black looks under direct light so i was hesitant to try it, but you have convinced me give it a try! Thanks again.

Awesome shot, I agree it would look neat under a black background. My addition: Would you consider a piece of black fabric? Something like velvet might create a very neat texture, what with it being so different from the cold, shiny metal.

Hi,

Everything has been said, it is a great shot. Just to add you should enter it in the repetition assignment.

Cheers

Tim

I like the shot. Looks like a lot of time and thought went into it. The black background is a good idea but I'm curious to see how it looks if you remove the gold tab and leave an empty space. It might change the picture from, "Look at me as I stand out" to , "Where did it go?"

Newbie question here - What is Light Box? Is that a module of PhotoShop?

Thanks for the info.

Sorry for the newbie explanation. But it's pretty much a box that will allow you to take pictures of objects and keep the background a single colour. The following link might explain it better than I would.
