Hi happilyinvisible,
The yellow tone looks so pristine, but the sun has become white with over exposure. If you could expose is less with -ve exposure compensation, you can probably get slightly less bright sun and more reddish colours on the water and more contrast and details of the environment. You can also crop the picture from below.

The grass and reeds look nice coming out of the water like that but there is too much IMO. I would have framed it more to the right so that the reeds only take up the bottom left portion of the photo. This would also have moved the sun out of the middle of the frame which would be good. And I agree with moving the horizen either down or up to the third lines. Another thing you can do.. (I dont know how advanced you are at this stage in your shooting) is use filters to get the exposure correct for both the sky and the water/foreground. Or an HDR image would also work. but for me it is filters all the way.I try not to spend hours and hours processing my images so much better to take it right the first time and spend a couple minutes adjusting small details.
