Default Where's the Call?

Where's the Call?

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 46 mm
ISO Speed: 1600

One of these days I'm going to try the ISO at 800.

Anyway, this is an edited shot. It had more room behind the shooter that I felt didn't do anything but take away from the shot.

I like how the players both stay along the edge of the shot. I wish the bottom guy was looking at the same thing as the shooter, but there's not anything I can do about that.

I'm not a fan of the ads at all or how dark the background gets.

look on their faces is awesome =) also its a good thing his hand isn't a little lower. Great looking sports shot, captures the moment great, I just kinda wish you could see the ball in the air.

Good capture. I feel you on the backgrounds, but that's just the reality of shooting sports. It's better to have a mostly dark background that doesn't distract then a gigantic coca-cola ad going through somebody's head.

I wish I could see the ball too. But I'll gladly trade that for being able to be that close to the players.

Great edit Snapperboy...
but I think I would also clone the yellow wall over to the other side of the player... to even it out a little bit... instead of having all the space beside the player on the left become a black void. Just an idea...

I really like what you've done with it. I don't know why I never thought of doing that myself actually.

What a great action shot!! I havent had much luck with this kind of shot lately, so seeing a nice one is always fun. I like the dark background, it makes the colors in the uniforms shoot out at me. I like it. good job!

Great action shot. Tough to do! It would be nice if you could lighten the face of the guy in blue a bit.
