![]() This is actually my brand new motorcycle, which has an onboard computer that gives things like instantaneous fuel consumption as well as average speed, overall fuel consumption, and so on, and so on. There is so much technology in this bike it blows my mind. Plus, it is more fun to play with than my laptop. ![]() Taken December 6th Canon EOS 20D Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens Exposure: 8 sec Aperture: f 8.0 ISO: 100

I saw this assignment and couldn't resist. Technology is unbelievable and given what we have today, who knows what the future holds in the next few years. This photo captures something I have a problem with: collecting CPUs. I had more than this at one time but discarded a few that were 'not so pretty'. As of now I have a total of 16. I set this up so that the stack of processors, or cube should I say, shows the pins facing inward. The one in the foreground gives an idea of what the stacked ones look like on the other side. There is a Slot 1 Pentium II behind these and the holographic sticker is seen reflecting off the shiny underside of the bottom processor. I used a CFL light in a reflector base which has a white balance of 6500K. I positioned the light to get the best colors from the hologram's reflection.
Enjoy! Taken: 12/9/2009 Nikon D60 Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Exposure: 1/10s Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 100 Focal length: 55mm No flash Auto white balance Manual focus
