Default assignment: everyday artifacts

So, this is my engagement ring. It was also my mom's - my dad gave it to her nearly forty years ago. I have five sisters, but somehow (probably because I'm the baby) I'm the lucky one that inherited it. I've had it for almost five years now. The diamond popped out over a year ago. I need to get it fixed. I know I do. But I kinda dig the "wedding-band-only" look. Sigh.

Default A few artifacts!

I used a few everyday artifacts. A flower from the front porch, an old flashlight,
and one of my children's old toy chests to setup and wet a little.

Default Assignment:Everyday Artifacts

I had several ideas for this one, took alot of pics as so many of us do lol... but, in the end, I figured 'everyday artifacts' to me would be something lasting. Something that I use everyday that will be here when I am not. As a homemaking, homeschooling mama, I'm in the kitchen most of all:

Default Assignment: Everyday Artifacts

campus construction

This was taken on campus at the college I attend. I don't care who you are or where you live, EVERYONE has some sort of construction nearby. =P

Funny enough, I was going around campus that day taking pictures with my camera while holding it down by my waist. I was trying to get new angles on things, and it seems to have worked for at least a few of the shots.

Some awesome photos in this thread though, truly amazing what some people can do with things people just look over.

Taken tonight. Little bit of post processing but not much major. My running shoes and, of course, the pink leash for my doggie.

Processed in the digital darkroom is fine. Nice picture.
