Another first post from a new member and beginning photographer.

Just tried to find whatever was handy since I'd never used this option before. Came out with an interesting effect from the shadows of the blinds.

Slow sync flash looking outside

Default This is what I've done so far...

I was surprised to notice that they don't look so bad even if they're blurry...

Default Slow Sync Flash...

I have to say that I usually leave my camera set to use rear curtain sync almost all of the time. I find it quite useful in capturing motion while freezing your subject in place. I hope you enjoy this example.

Default Slow Sync Flash example

I discovered the night mode on my camera around Halloween this year. I took this picture of Adam with his lightsabres - he had 2 of them.

And I love how this skeleton turned out in their yard:

Hey guys, hoping to get back into using this forum more and more.

Just stumbled upon this post and thought that I'd share 2 photos on this topic.

Fire Spinning

This is my brother in-law doing some fire twirling and was taken using full auto settings and was an accident. It was taken a few years ago just after I got my camera. I was pretty impressed with this shot.

Intersection Light Trails

I took this the other night using a friends tripod. Not much to say here, but I learnt a lot about low light photography and shutter speeds.

Wow amazing photos all. Love all of the common (or not!) things that look extraordinary with this style.
Just the other night I snapped a few slow sync flash photos. Here's one.
