It's SPRING! Well, almost... so it is time to stop and smell (or pick) some flowers!

Here's my crack at the DPS assignment.

Am I the only one but being on the other side of the lens takes a little getting used to...

(taken using a B+W polarizing filter)

Default Assignment: Self Portrait

Not already knowing what the assignment was (until the newsletter turned up this morning) I just happened to do this self-portrait yesterday while trying out my new background stand.

This wasn't my original intention, but the photos were pretty lousy and I was trying to salvage them somehow. In the end, I like the mood it evokes.




All three photos taken 5 March 2009 at:

Shutter - 1/6sec
