Default Assignment: Self portrait

When it comes to a Self Portrait I'm all for it.... once it has been through some serious editing that is!! I was trying to be creative with some recent pictures I took with GIMP today and this is what I came up with. I hope it's ok... you all are the very first to see it!

Talking Assignment: Self Portrait

My usual model (aka, the dog) got a little irritated with sitting still while I messed with some lighting setups so I had to be my own model.. and then I started having fun using the remote..

I am fairly certain I gave myself whiplash trying to flip my hair up..

Default Saralonde x2

[QUOTE=Saralonde;418921]Self-portraits can be addictive once you get the hang of them. After all, will you ever find a more cooperative model than yourself? BTW, I blame my addiction on Sime (he started the threesixtyfive flickr group).

Nice one! Did you paint that too? Your so skillful!

Oh, man, forgot to add the title. It's meant to say Assignment: Self Portrait. Bugger it. Hope it still qualifies.

We've had a significant loss in our family recently, and I've spent a LOT of time crying, and subsequently have been cleaning up wet mascara-smeared eyes. I should just stop wearing eye makeup.

Self Portrait

EXIF:
Exposure: 1/125
Aperture: f/2.5
Focal Length: 50 mm
Flash: No Flash
ISO: 200
