Watching TV earlier this week, I saw a image of a person's silhouette in front and two more persons in full light in the back. Lacking (as usual) human models, I tried to get a similar setup with two porcelain ducks:
![]() To me, the mirror image of the duck on the right keeps the picture balanced. The ducks were lit by a simple halogen lamp. Today, all modern houses in the town have one large window per room, or if they have more, windows are independant, but all houses built more than 100 years ago have windows in pairs... always... (for more siliar examples, see my flickr)
