I feel that the way the board walk zig zags balances the picture, starting from one post and even though it is blurred it leads to another set of posts at the end.

Default Assignment: Balance

Watching TV earlier this week, I saw a image of a person's silhouette in front and two more persons in full light in the back. Lacking (as usual) human models, I tried to get a similar setup with two porcelain ducks:

Assignment: Balance

To me, the mirror image of the duck on the right keeps the picture balanced. The ducks were lit by a simple halogen lamp.

Default Assignment: Balance

Today, all modern houses in the town have one large window per room, or if they have more, windows are independant, but all houses built more than 100 years ago have windows in pairs... always... (for more siliar examples, see my flickr)
