Not for the contest, because I took it in June, but when I saw the assignment, I immediately thought of my friend Teddy's hand. She's 80 years old today, but you wouldn't know it by the way she acts. She's a farmer/rancher with the spirit of a woman half her age.

Default Assignment: Time

I was going to say no prizes for guessing what time I took this one at but checking back on the Exif data it seems my clock on the oven and the one on the camera aren't quite in sync!

I don't care how much of an amateur you think you are, and sure the photograph might not be "technically" perfect - but the story, the concept, the pose, the look, STUNNING! The "artist" part of the photograph is stellar! Not that it is bad technically either!

Nice job on this assignment!

Default Time Flies

Taken with a Canon Powershot S2 IS, 1/40 F3.5 on June 26th. Not for the contest, obviously, but I wanted to contribute.

I think these assignments are great for streaching the imagination. I had a number of other ideas, but didn't have enough time to set them up. I am adding them to my list of things to try out.
