This picture was taken August of 2004, therefore is not valid for placing, but I thought I'd submit it anyway as one of my favorite photos for "Negative Space" or maybe good contrast.
This photo was taken by your's truely with a Nikon Cool Pix 5400 very early in the AM on an Adirondak NY Lake. I used to be a BSA leader and had lead a group on an canoe / camping overnight outing. The adult leaders are always up first at the crack of dawn before the Scouts and I was rewarded with waking up to this fantastic view when I came out of my tent. So I grabbed my trusty Nikon point and shoot and captured this image.

![]() This photo was taken in Luang Prabang, Laos. There were too many distracting elements around the three construction workers so I decided to include as much of the blue sky I could into the frame. It gives me the feeling that they still have a long way to go. Too bad there wasn't a cloud passing by to make it more interesting in a way. Yeah, I'd be very happy with that outcome too. Quite a unique perspective. I like it, I like it. |
