Default Assignment: Negative Space

I discovered that my kitchen wall is a perfect background for simple portraits like this. Just wouldn't be the same without the surrounding square space.

Crash.

Camera: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50
Exposure: 1/50
Aperture: f/2.7
Focal Length: 5.2 mm
ISO Speed: 400
No flash.

Little retouching and framing with FrameFun, FotoFlexer & Picasa 3.

Default The Sand

I took this photo a while back. It was rather drab and boring when I shot it. I boosted the saturation, added a lighting effect and played with the colors a bit in PS.

Negative Space for Dummies:

When Bugs Bunny run through a closed door, the negative space is the remains of the door..
