Assignment: Transport

Not sure what you mean by "in the last week." This was taken July 18. I'm not sure when this week began.

Continued from last page:

This is our old POS truck and camper. For many years my family would go camping all summer. Now it is very old, leaky, and temperamental (both the truck and the camper). It just sits in the trees out back, rusting.

Assignment: Transport

I suppose this theme has already been done, but I still like the idea.
The original mode of transportation:

lol ... it's all good. We must've been posting around the same time.

Of course, getting my daughter to hold still long enough for the photo was a bit tricky

Default Sailing away from Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan, Canada to Finland – this was Tom Sukanen's ambitious sailing mission in the first half of the 20th century. Neighbours scoffed at his seemingly improbable dream. But Sukanen was determined to return to his distant homeland. He would build the ship himself, hauling materials across town to his barren farm. He worked tirelessly, night and day for six long years, hammering away and planning routes. But when the project was almost finished vandals stripped the boat structure. Exhausted and defeated, Sukanen was committed to a psychiatric ward in 1941.

This picture was taken at a museum dedicated to Tom in his adopted land-locked province: Saskatchewan.
