I wanted to take this picture for a while. I finally found a good deal on a mask and I already knew the lighting I wanted on it so it was a fairly simply setup, shoot, and break down. The only issue was getting the correct angel and perspective of the mask.

This is called as "Pattada Gombe" in local language - Kannada. Every year, during the month of Oct we celebrate "Nava ratri" which means 9 Nights, where in we keep many dolls and celebrate festivals.
