Colorful doorColorful door Hosted on Zooomr

I like the fact that the shot is not entierly symetrical, due to the cross in front of the door. Sometimes, symmetry is made to be broken....

Default A bit confused on symmetry....

Symmetry or balance?
I understand symmetry if one side of the picture is close to the same as the other, but training my eye to see a balanced shot is proving difficult. Does this path show symmetry while the bush counter-balances the person? Or am I totally off the mark?

Default Symmetry...well it is

Thought you might like this, it was taken in the bath using a Kodak DC110, thats why it is not so sharp. It has not been touched up in any way.

Feet in the bath

But is is symetrical
