Crocuses

Taken with my 90mm Vivitar lens and processed a bit in The Gimp to boost colour and sharpness (and I finally got round to putting it on Flickr this morning, over a month late!).

This picture is very evocative. The images enclose the magic of life waiting for the beginning of the spring to show its power and beauty. The colours show a clear transition between winter (grey and the pale blue of the sky) and the next spring (green). Great work!

Default Assignment: Spring

Spring always means gardening around my house and this was the first year my son got in on the action. Those are his little blue gloves.

love this one. Great composition and creativity!
Thank you, southernbelle! I really wanted to frame 'spring' as the idea of new life among the lifelessness, and nature was more than happy to provide some examples....

Be creative. Have a look at the Wikipedia page on spring for lots of ideas, not all of them to do with a change of season.
