There is nothing wrong with flowers to represent spring but I am more interested in photos that show some creative energy rather than just the possession of a good camera and the good fortune to be surrounded by some gorgeous plants.

This advice, of course, comes rather late in the day for entrants for this week's mini-contest and only represents my personal views rather than being an official stance but it is worth bearing in mind for future. Next week, I'm going to be working through lots of random round things - think about what will look fresh to me after I've seen a hundred other circles and my eyes are going googly!

Yes, Wulf, a "heads-up" for the judges' preference in an assignment of creativity over beauty would be very helpful. For people pleasers and rule followers like myself, I try to do as I'm "told!"

At least you have a lot of beautiful flowers to surround you this week!

Thanks for all you and the other mods do to make this such a great site. I have learned so much in the few months I've been here.

Nobie, this is so cool! Did you find the old mitt in your garage, too?

Talking Assignment: Spring

Orchid

Second post for the assignment and it's a long follow-up from the last one. Technically it's summer in my part of the globe but all the flowers are in full bloom here around this time.
