I think maybe the auto-white balance caught a glint off a wave or something and then rendered everything in black and white. Usually I think black and white photos straight out of the camera looked a little flat (not contrasty enough for my taste), but this one suited me just fine.

Hi everyone! This is not for the contest (taken 2/2...four days too early!), but it's my first post and I wanted to make sure I'm doing everything right. This is sunset at Lake Fausse Point in South Louisiana near Lafayette. I have not edited it except to resize it. I don't know how to post the Exif data yet.

I welcome any comments or suggestions!
