Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera.
A camera that can use more than one lens. Generally has fully manual mode.

The Nikon D50, D70, D200 etc are all DSLR's.

A camera that fits in your pocket and cannot swap lenses - is not.

'Prosumer Digital'

Prosumer Digital is also pretty much the same as a dSLR, but it is a dSLR aimed at the comsumer level where also have enough knowledge that you need a more professional camera (e.g. professional + consumer = prosumer (http://www.wordspy.com/words/prosumer.asp)). So, the d50, d70 and d80 are all considered prosumer cameras. Something like the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II would be a professional camera.

Granted, these are both articles reviewing the different cameras at the different levels, I find that the CNet articles on Prosumer dSLRs (http://reviews.cnet.com/4323-6530_7-6509048.html&tag=feat.4) and Professional dSLRs (http://reviews.cnet.com/4323-6530_7-6509047.html) help explain at least a little and you can see some of the differences between the types of cameras.
