Welcome to another week of WWYD.
This week we've got a picture from Teewinot :)

I'm running out of pictures for these threads, so if you're interested in keeping them going, please PM me with links to pictures to be used. A link to the medium and small size please. :)
As usual, the rules are simple. Use the picture, edit it how you would like, then post the results and what you did to this thread.
Now, let's see what you would do!

First i found a picture of a shark on Google images and traced around the head and copied it. next I pasted as a new layer onto the diver pic and moved it off to the side. I then traced around with the freehand selection tool and copied it. I then moved the shark head to a position that I thought looked ok and then pasted the diver back onto the image and aligned him up with the image beneath. The leg of the diver overlapped a bit so I cloned around it to cover the overlapping parts.I used a tube image for the bubbles over the diver and then then created a new layer out of bubbles and copied that onto the current image as a new layer and lowered the opacity until I liked it.Next I selectivley erased around the divers face and the eye of the shark to bring them out more. I then created text and sized it to the postion over his sponge and merged all images. Oh and i also tried to burn the light reflection behind the shark but didnt do such a hot job at that one.

I'd stick the picture in a caption competition. It's a natural!

windrider86, you had me laughing out loud...my husband even asked what was so funny! Classic...awesome edit! :D
I took this shot at the Alaska Sea Life Center this summer in Seward, AK. It's definitely a throw-away as far as quality goes, but I thought it would be a fun edit for WWYD.

Sorry Windrider, I meant that I wouldn't change it, just use it for a caption comp. I didn't post a picture.

GOAL: I wasn't about to top any of the great edits already presented here, so I just decided to first give it some basic fixes and then add a bit of a spinning vortex feel.
What I did (in PSP XI):
-Straightened
-Cropped out all window frames and the flash area
-Unsharp mask (radius 75, strength 30) X2
-Adjusted histogram midtones (-10)
-Saturation boost (16) X2
-Spikey Halo Filter X2, then cloned out edges left behind

Looking good guys :)
Just wanted to drop into the thread to let you know that after this week the WWYD threads will be in the new Games & Challenges (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=34) area of the forum. The older WWYD threads have already been moved over there. :) Seemed to be appropriate seeing as they are a challenge to your creativity and post-processing skills. Keep going guys!
