Just a short note to officially welcome NaturesPixel (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/member.php?find=lastposter&f=19) to the role of DPS forums moderator.
NP will be looking after the 'Technique' section for me initially (depending how big the job gets). I think she's ideally suited for this job and will be a big help to those of you working on your technique as she's got some obvious talent in the area - particularly some of her wonderful macro shots which you can see at her photolog (http://naturespixel.com/).
Of course moderators don't know everything (even NaturesPixel) so her job isn't about answering everyone's questions (that's everyone's job) - just about facilitating discussion and keeping things running smoothly.
So welcome NaturesPixel and a public thank you!
PS: if you're interested in becoming a DPS moderator I'll be looking for a few more in the coming weeks. Mods don't need to 'know it all' (although it helps to have some knowledge of the area you're moderating) but they do need to demonstrate a commitment to the forums and be active members. Best thing to do at this stage is to get posting :-)
