Hello, all.

I am looking for a camera with a built in intervalometer. I know that the Canon S2 IS and S3 IS have it, but I sure with the S5 IS did. If you guys would be so kind as to list any cams you can think of that have one, Id be very grateful.

I'm looking for a very wide range zoom, 8MP or better, and preferably a manual focus ring on the lens. This is a best case scenario. Im willing to consider any reasonable compromise.

Sorry if this is a repeat post, but I searched for intervalometer and only found two threads.

As it is, I may be leaning towards the S3 IS, but I just wish it was a little more MP. I dont suppose anyone knows anything about the future hackability of the Digic III processor, eh?

Thanks,
LS

edit: fwiw, if theres a decent cam with a nice feature set that has a remote shutter capability, that may be just as good as I can get a third party intervalometer.

The method that came to mind is to go to Google.com and tell it to search www.dpreview.com for the term "intervalometer" and this is the results I get. Logically, every review that has the word "intervalometer" in it will show up in this search. There are only 63 results, so it's not overwhelming by any means.

Click this link below to perform the search...

But as to a decent cam with a 3rd party intervalometer, just about every DSLR will have some sort of intervalometer remote switch that you can buy extra and attach to the camera. For example, here's Canon's timer remote for their non-Rebel DSLR's...
