Am I the only one here using a Sony DSC-F707 or it's younger brother, the 717?
It's a little limited in the megapixels and zoom (due to it's age), but still a fun (not-so)little camera nonetheless.

No, but I had plans for a F707.
It takes fantastic infrared images, if you didn't know already. (http://stecf.org/~rfosbury/home/photography/infrared/imaging_ir.html) :-)

I'll bookmark that site, thanks.
FYI, my father has the F717, and I'd recommend that over the 707, if you do ever get one. Almost identical cameras, but the 717 can take larger memory sticks, has a hot shoe, plus has several usability improvements over the 707.
I'm wishing I had the hot-shoe on my 707, as I'm looking at an external flash, and hate being limited to the Sony HVL-F1000.

I used the F707 for several years and found it to be an excellent camera. The F1000 flash is good also, particularly when used in the "bounce" mode. Infrared in the "nightshot" mode is fun to experiment with but you also need an R72 IR filter as well as an ND8 or Pol-Fader filter to control the exposure. In the nightshot mode the camera only shoots at 1/60 second at f/2.0. The macro mode is also very good. I have no complaints at all about this camera.
