Has anyone downloaded the Beta version yet?
Is it worth bothering with or should I stick with CS2?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I tried the beta (only works for two days without a valid CS2 key), and I was quite impressed. MUCH improved startup time, a few seconds, compared to the near half minute of CS2, the new B/W adjustment layer, and a plethora of other things make it worthwhile to me.

I've been using CS3 since it became available, and have been pretty happy with it, considering it's a beta (since it has bugs still)
My favorite feature is what amounts to adjustment layers for just about ANY filter in the filter menu. In reality, you convert a layer to a Smart Object, and then you can apply filters to that layer, which you can later edit, hide or delete (like an adjustment layer)
Adobe Bridge has also been updated, and I like it better than the old one for sure.
Of course, one of the best reasons to get CS3 is if you're running on an Intel Mac, since CS3 is a Universal Binary.
