Background: I am a student at Kansas State University, and like a lot of college students I have a great deal of pride and school spirit and I like to do little things to have fun with that. This picture was taken by a friend of mine (I'm the one with the purple hair in the picture) at the 2004 K-State vs Oklahoma football game.
Here's the original:

and here's my edited version:
http://www.cis.ksu.edu/~jstiles/Sea%20of%20Purple.jpg
And here's what I did:
1. I desaturated the entire image.
2. I went over everything purple with the history brush (using a side by side comparison as to not miss anything)
3. I then adjusted the hue and the contrast a bit to make the purple look more purple (it was looking a little blue), and to make the black and white get a little higher definition.
4. As a last minute adjustment I history brushed Kristin and I's eyes (mine are blue and hers are blue-green by nature), and then isolated out that selection and adjusted the hue settings to make them seem purple as well.
Anyways, I hope you all like it.
(and my apologies if the pictures show up huge, I didn't see a way to resize without resizing and uploading smaller copies)
