Hi!

So, this is my first ever post on these forums! Perhaps I should be starting out in the Critique My Shot forum, but I will give this one a go here first!

This shot was taken in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, at around 9PM on June 25th, 2007. This is Cabot Tower, located at the top of Signal Hill, which where Marconi first made a wireless transmission across the Atlantic.

This photo had some minor exposure and levels adjustments in Aperture and was then exported from a RAW image to a scaled JPEG. Perhaps a question for another forum, but I am using an Apple iMac to view my images, and when I have them printed they always turn out much darker... any ideas?

Canon Digital Rebel XT w/18-55mm lens @ 18mm
f/3.5
2.0s
ISO100

Thanks!

andrewspearns, Welcome

You're wondering, what the heck? I don't know. For me it was the iMac question, thought someone would pick up on that.

I'm curious about the position in which the building is framed, what it is about the light on right that caused you to include it, and is this the best view of the building (no front door?). It seems to be a technically competent shot, to have gotten building, moon, and foreground grass in good focus and color and lighting. Is there a daylight view in your collection?
