I snapped this photo a few days ago when I was in South Carolina right before I went in the water. I really like the way it looks, although the horizon is slightly off, I think.

It was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT with a 50mm f/1.8 lens.

After I uploaded the image I added a slight warming filter/added a touch of noise/and created a vignette. I wanted it to look like I was using a much older lens, with a film feel.

I like how you've gotten a nice contrast between the beach and sky.

Was this Myrtle Beach?

Thank you very much. Nope, it was Folly Beach which is like 20 minutes outside of Charleston I'd say...

I actually prefer Folly Beach to Myrtle any day. We have friends with a condo down there.

What F-Stop did you shot this at? I would go with a smaller F-Stop next time to get a more depth of field in the image.

It was shot at 6.3.
